Explore Porto

At the time indicated, we'll meet outside the Centro Português de Fotografia, in Plaza Largo Amor de Perdição Square, to start this free tour around Porto old town.

After a brief introduction, we'll start exploring the oldest part of Porto, enjoying the views that will be on offer from the viewpoint at Parque das Virtudes Park. Then, we'll enter the Old Town to visit São João Novo Palace and Church. We'll admire beautiful art and architecture inside both buildings.

The tour will continue inside São Pedro de Miragaia Church, very popular among fishermen in Porto. Then, we'll pass by other emblematic temples in the Old Town such as the São Francisco and São Nicolau churches. In addition, we'll stop in front of other iconic monuments, including the Bolsa Palace and the Ferreira Borges Market.

After learning about its history, we'll then walk past the Casa do Infante and Plaza de la Ribeira Square. Here, we'll enjoy incredible views of the Duero and the neighbourhood on the river's shore.

Finally, we'll end this free tour after 2 hours around the shores of the Duero.
